A. Benjamin Hubbell, CPA
Ben is a Fresno native who enjoys a busy family life with his wife, Audrey, and their three young children. He loves spending quality family time at home and keeping his kids active with trips to the park and the zoo as often as possible. Golf has been a lifelong hobby and he likes to get out on the course whenever schedules allow.
Experience
Ben graduated from Fresno State University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an Accountancy Option, earning his CPA license in 2009. He is a member of AICPA and CalCPA societies. He began his career with Wiebe Hinton Hambalek, LLP in 2007 as an intern under the mentorship of Robert Wiebe. Ben joined the partnership in August 2019.
Practice Specialties
He is a leader in the firm’s real estate practice group. His expertise in complex transactional consulting, pass through entities, and tax deferred exchanges has been honed over his 12 years at the firm. Ben has a particular talent for interpreting and utilizing various applications within the increasingly complex tax code. He has been an integral part of our research team regarding the new tax laws and specifically Qualified Opportunity Zones.
